About Us
Southampton University Chamber Choir is an award winning group made up of 20-30 singers from around the university, ranging in age, background and degrees.

Established in 2004, the choir is one of two auditioned choirs at the University of Southampton. The choir sings music from a range of genres, focussing on contemporary classical repertoire, but including sacred music, madrigals, folk songs, and occasionally jazz and pop.

Singing at a number of venues each year, recent outings include Romsey Abbey, Mottisfont Abbey and Portsmouth Cathedral, with tours to Edinburgh, Berlin, Madrid and The Netherlands in recent years.

Rehearsals are held at the University of Southampton's Highfield Campus during term time every Tuesday from 7.00pm to 9.00pm.

The Southampton University Chamber Choir is one of the older societies to be affiliated to Union Southampton (University of Southampton Students' Union), with over a decade's experience passed down from year to year. SUCC has a reputation for fine singing and a close community spirit.
